Naquel Harrison

Naquel Anne Harrison, 34, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Salmon, Idaho. Naquel was born oldest child of Lex and Kay Harrison in Pocatello, Idaho. Shortly after birth complications followed requiring extensive medical attention. Naquel has received 24 hour skilled nursing care for the past 30 years. She has been cared for by Dewy Van Luevan ,a registered nurse in Salmon, Idaho for the past 11 years. Dewy has been a loving and nurturing mother figure for Naquel. Words cannot express the love and appreciation from Naquel's family for Dewy's care and devotion. Naquel is survived by her parents, Lex and Kay Harrison, 2 sisters, Lacy Harrison Seamons, (Matt); Kallie Harrison Buxton (JD); one brother, Chase; grandmothers, Lorraine Harrison, Florine Whiting, and extended family members. She is preceeded in death by her grandfathers, Lew S. Harrison and Rex A. Whiting. Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11 A.M. Thurs, October 13 at Moutain View Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, 83201. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Naquel's name to Brooklins Playground, P.O. Box 1374, Pocatello, Idaho 83204.
