Nancy Jane Steed (Glenn) passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, in Pocatello, Idaho, at the age of 74. Born on January 23, 1950, in Pocatello, she lived a life full of joy, dedication, and love, especially for her family.
Nancy was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her grandkids were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Known for her overly sugary handmade birthday cakes and the lavishly stuffed Christmas baskets she prepared, Nancy made sure her home was a place of warmth and happiness. Her residence was often likened to an indoor jungle, thanks to her exceptional green thumb, and her candy dishes and ice-cold cokes were a treat for all who visited.
Her driving was famously fearless, and no squirrel was safe when she was behind the wheel. Nancy's fighting spirit was evident in the courageous battle she waged over the last decade of her life, a fight her grandchildren admired deeply and are proud to remember.
Nancy is survived by her loving sons, Robert and Richard Evans; her adored grandchildren, Lillian, Zakkary, Alex, Samantha, Ryan, Colton, Chase, and Christa; and many cherished great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Eugene Glenn, her brothers, Delbert and Irvin Glenn and the love of her life Kevin Kerr.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public service. Nancy's legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will be remembered by all who knew her.
