Nancy Kiesling

d. June 4, 2017

Nancy was born in 1954 in Pocatello, Idaho to Gerald and Ruth Pearson. She passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the age of 63. She lived on North 15 th with her three brothers and two sisters until her early teen years when her family moved to Portneuf Road. In 1973, she married Kenneth Kiesling. "Kenny" was her best friend. They felt very blessed to adopt three children: Lisa, Jeff, and Chris. Kenny passed away in 2004 and she missed him every day. When she was young she worked downtown at the family owned Family Shoe Store. But she most loved her work later on as a mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was very dedicated, always attending sports games and concerts. Nancy spent time on Chubbucks C.O.P. (Citizens on Patrol) Organization and enjoyed that community involvement. She was a lifetime member of the LDS (Mormon) church and had a very strong testimony of Jesus Christ. She served in many church positions including primary chorister, stake primary presidency, young women's camp leader, relief society chorister, and visiting teacher. Prayer played an extremely important role in her life. Nancy loved games; from card games and board games to computer games. She especially enjoyed chatting with friends and family, either in person, by phone or online. Anyone who knew Nancy knew she loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was usually telling jokes, playing pranks, or just spreading her contagious laugh. She did everything she could to make people happy. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brian) Merrell, Pocatello, ID; sons, Jeffery Kiesling, Baltimore, MD, Chris Kiesling, Pocatello, ID, Shane (Laura) Campbell (loved as a son), Pocatello, ID; mother, Ruth Pearson, Pocatello, ID; siblings, Susan (Eric) Mennear , Pocatello, ID, Lewis (Sydney) Pearson , Logan, UT, Debra (Doyle) Ray, Inkom, ID, Nord (Shawna) Pearson, Pocatello, ID, Tim (Joyce) Pearson, Pocatello, ID; and 12 kids are blessed enough to be considered her grandchildren.
