Myron A. Roice

June 26, 1949 — July 12, 2017

Myron Alfred (Stretch) Roice, 68, passed away on July 12, 2017 at the U of U Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 26, 1949 in Jackson, Wyoming, to Carl A. and Barbara Alice Roice.

Myron grew up in Jackson, where he attended school at Jackson Wilson High School. Myron then worked construction until he went to college at Central Wyoming Community College where he received an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Myron, after college went back to work in the construction field, until he retired in 2011. Myron loved to hunt, fish, camp and spend time with family and friends especially his grandkids.

Myron is survived by his children: Kimberly Ann Hunter, Todd Hunter, Jason Roice, Carl (Benny) Roice, Brian (Valerie) Roice, and Step Children: Kristyn Caldwell, Derek Caldwell. Sisters and Brothers: Nonie Roice, Donna Roice Teeples, Carl J. Roice, Byron Roice and spouse, Dana (Howerton) Roice and Grace Roice. Nieces and nephews: Jerry Smith and Family, Wayne Smith and family, Deb Varley and Family and Carl (Buddy) Roice and family, Keith Roice and family Jesse Sena and family and Justin Roice and family. Grandchildren: Braddlie Hunter, Cody Parkhurst, Makayla Roice Hunter, Nicholas Perez, Justin Perez, Joseph Hutchins, Clayton Hutchins, Connor Roice, Mason Caldwell, Codi Roice, Rylie Caldwell, Dublyn Roice and Sienna Hunter, his nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents Carl A. and Barbara Roice, and his wife Janette Roice. A memorial service will be held at Grassy Lake for family and friends at a later date.
