She stayed in Pocatello throughout her life and attended schools there, graduating from Pocatello High School in 1960, in her youth she earned the Golden Gleaner Award, was a 4 year seminary student and served as secretary in the seminary program. She married Robert J. Crapo on March 13, 1965 after they both served honorable church missions.

Myrna was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held several positions in many of the auxiliaries. It was so important to her to serve and to do whatever was asked of her. She served several missions for the church, including a mission to the American Indians in the Montana area (her favorite mission), and later as a stake missionary, and in the Family History Centers, both in Pocatello and Salt Lake City, Utah.

She loved doing genealogy work and going on family history research trips to Virginia, Salt Lake City, England, Wales, and Norway. She was always accompanied by her sister, Ann Autrey, and they had many happy memories and stories of their travels and adventures. She loved being a member of both the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She held many positions in these organizations and had a lot of fun and was proud of the work she did with the sisters of these groups.

She worked for Met insurance, and many years for the City of Chubbuck as a clerk.

Myrna and Robert had two children, Deborah and Michael. Family was so important to Myrna, and she loved traveling, camping, playing games, and working hard together. She had many hobbies which included music, singing, piano, travel, handy crafts, gardening and canning, genealogy and teaching others about genealogy.
