Michelle Kunz Main

Michelle Kunz Main, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at the age of 33 following a brief struggle with brain cancer.

The light of Michelle's life was her infant son, Morgan, who was born as a preemie in April 2008. She met the love of her life Michael Main in 1994 and the two were married in 2003.

Michelle was born April 28, 1975, to Kitty and Kent Kunz in Pocatello, Idaho. As the oldest of five children she was a wonderful “little mamma” to all of her siblings. She attended school in Pocatello, graduating with honors from Highland High School in 1993. In her youth she was a beautiful ballet dancer, and she continued her love of dance in the high school drill team. After high school she attended Idaho State University, and trained to become an office assistant. She was employed for a time, in Boise and Walla Walla, Washington, before returning to Pocatello in 2000 where she found employment as a Senior Registered Sales Assistant at DA Davidson.

Michelle loved to scrapbook and take photographs. She has left a wonderful legacy for her son on the pages of the books she has created. She enjoyed 4-wheeling with her husband, boating with her family, and traveling when she could.

Michelle will be greatly missed by her husband Mickey and baby Morgan, as well as her parents Kent and Kitty Kunz, and siblings Bud Kunz, Annie Dixon, Joe Kunz, and Katie Ladwig. She was preceded in death by her nephew Connor Dixon. Her sisters will forever miss one of their best friends, and her brothers will miss “their favorite sister.” She was a wonderful “auntie” to all of her nieces and nephews and they will miss being spoiled by her. Michelle was beautiful and kind, and blessed the lives of all those she knew.
