Michael Thomas Burrows

Michael Thomas Burrows, 50, of Pocatello, Id passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at home surrounded by family.

Michael was born November 11, 1963 to Faye and Darrel Burrows. Mike grew up and lived in Pocatello his whole life. As a young child, he was a very active kid. He had a great love for the game of baseball and was even scouted in his later teenage years. He worked as a butcher and meat cutter for over 30 years.

Mike lived a simple and quiet life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and baseball. Mike's greatest enjoyments were playing with his four grandchildren and two daughters when they came to visit. He always said being with them was the greatest gift of all.

Michael is survived by: parents, Helen Faye and Darrel E. Burrows of Chubbuck, daughters; Raquel Grant of Alliance, NE., Rachelle Moon of Rapid City, S.D., a sister, Kim (Randy) McCarroll of Darby, MT., brothers; Craig and Doug (Jackie) Burrows of Pocatello, Jeff and David Burrows of Hamilton, MT., and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd., Chubbuck, Idaho. A gathering will be held one hour prior to services also at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow services at the St. Johns Cemetery in Malad, Idaho.
