Mike was a hard worker and spent 18 years at FMC on the Phosphorus Dock loading train cars. He only left when FMC shut down. He tried on his student role again and went back to Idaho State University to become an LPN. Mike only had a semester left when BNFL offered him a job out at the Idaho National Laboratory. Mike worked there until he retired from Fluor on June 5, 2017.

Mike's love was his family and spending time with them whether it was camping, boating, water skiing, or just a backyard BBQ. Mike was a devoted son and loved his mother. Mike also enjoyed hunting, fishing and he was very proud of his yard and garden. He was also known to like his beer.
