Maxine Call, 92, of Pocatello, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011, at a local care center. She was born on August 20, 1919, in Brigham City, Utah, to John and Ada Moss. She was raised in Conrad, Montana, as well as Ammon, Idaho. She married Elwin "Frosty" Call on August 25, 1935. Together they raised 7 children. Her life was her work and her family. If there was any activity that included family, she was there whether it was reunions, camping, or fishing. She is survived by her son Ken (Jane) Call of Pocatello; daughter Ada Cook of Pocatello; daughter Judy Humphry of Middleton, Idaho; daughter Sandra (Ed) Poston of Chubbuck; brother Thaine (Josephine) Moss of Vaughn, Montana; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frosty; sons Dellis, Dennis, and Ron; sons-in-law Jerry Cook and Kelly Humphry; daughter-in-law Jeanette Call; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Colonial Funeral Home, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Burial will follow services at Mountain View Cemetery. Our family would like to thank the staff of Whispering Pines for the love and compassion they had for our mother.
