Maurice Edward Grady of Pocatello, Idaho passed away at home September 23, 2016. He was born April 20, 1941 to Maurice Edward Sr. and Loretta Ennis Grady. He was the third child of six. He married his high school sweetheart Jerie Olsen on April 22, 1960. They were married 56 wonderful years. He was a carpenter and rancher for 56 years. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carolyn Stites, Eileen Grady; and son, Timothy Grady. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jerie; three children, Cindy Peterson, Dan (Kelly) Grady, and Sheila (Phil) Fergus; eight wonderful grandchildren, and four-great grandchildren; three sisters, Judith Edwards, Kathleen Skeppstrom, and G.G. Grady. He had a great sense of humor and a charismatic personality that people gravitated to. He cherished his family more than anything else and had a deep love for his Irish heritage that he passed on to his family. He will be deeply missed. -Irish Blessing- May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204 with a viewing held at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, from 12:30-1:30 pm prior to the services.
