Mary L. Miles, 76, of Pocatello, passed away with her loving daughter by her side on February 28, 2021.
Mary was born on August 16, 1944 in Lewiston, Idaho to Leo and Evelyn Jesse. She went to school in Lewiston. On February 14, 1964, Mary married Vernon Benjamin. Together they had two children, Robert and Kathy. Mary and Vernon later divorced. She then met and married Dale Miles and together they moved to Pocatello, Idaho for a work opportunity. Mary and Dale later divorced. Eventually, she would meet and marry Douglas Appleby. They remained together until the time of his passing.
At the end of her career, Mary retired from American Land Title and moved back to Lewiston to care for her mother. She resided in Lewiston until November 2020, when she moved in with Kathy back in Pocatello.
Mary was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Some of her favorite hobbies were playing bingo, doing crafts, and watching sports. She always looked forward to family vacations in Oregon. Above all else, Mary's life was devoted to her children. She faced many obstacles in her life, but she always provided for her children to the best of her ability.
Mary is survived by her son Robert (Heather) Benjamin of Tooele, UT, and her daughter Kathy Benjamin of Pocatello, Idaho. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Grace Jesse of Lewiston, Idaho, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn and Leo Jesse, brothers John and Edward Jesse, and niece Susan Jesse.
Mary is missed by many and will always be remembered with love by everyone who's life she touched.
