Mary Aneta De La Rosa

Mary Aneta De La Rosa, passed away February 8, 2021 at the age of 79, just 9 days before her 80th birthday in Pocatello, Idaho.

Mary was born to William and Thelma Nalley on February 17, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1959.
She married Jerold Curtis Story in 1961 and later divorced. In 1966 she married Leland Becker and later divorced. In 1986 she married the love of her life Eliseo (Joe) De La Rosa. Together they enjoyed fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. Joe passed away in February 2013.

Mary was blessed with 6 children, Curtis, Charles Lee, Lynda, Terry, Robert and Tom along with 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mary also had a great love for each of her puppies, for they were her forever companions. She also loved going down to the Senior Center to meet new people and play Bingo.

Mary was blessed every Sunday fellow shipping at Gate City Christian Church in Chubbuck, Idaho.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Annie Elizabeth Nalley, Wilma Jean Bunce, Ellen Sue Borack, two children Charles Lee and Terry, along with one granddaughter Micah Nicole Story.

She is survived by her daughter Lynda Whitehead (Danny), and three sons Curtis Story (Cathy), Robert Story and Tom Becker, three brothers Tom Nalley, George Nalley ( Sandy) and Harold Nalley and three sisters Diana Higgins (Harold) and Ruth Ann Platt (David) and Roberta Helkey.

A graveside service for Mary will be held Saturday February 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello, Idaho.
