Marva Grace Campbell, 93, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Marva was born on July 12, 1920 in McCammon, Idaho to Ray Lish and Grace Romriell. Marva was raised with her sister Belva in McCammon, Idaho where they attended school.
Marva married James Wilson in 1936 at the age of 16. Together they moved to Pocatello where they both worked for the Railroad. They were blessed with three children: Jim, Delores and Phyllis.
In 1956 James passed away. Shortly after Marva met Dave Campbell and they were married in 1957. They were together for 27 years before Dave passed away in 1984.
Marva loved most of all to be with her family. She also enjoyed camping, playing cards and having picnics in the yard, known as "yard-nics" within the family.
She is survived by: her son, James Wilson & his wife Evlynn, Idaho Falls; her daughter, Phyllis Stinger, Pocatello; son-in-law, Chuck Johnson, Pocatello; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 20 great great-grandchildren.
Marva was preceded in death by; her parents, her husband, James Wilson & Dave Campbell; sister, Belva; her daughter, Delores and son-in-law Lloyd Stinger.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Call and Dr. Fahim for the care given to mom, as well as all other medical staff that helped in caring for mom over the last few weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment will follow services on Wednesday in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon, Idaho. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.wilksfuneralhome.com.
