Martina "Marie" Brown

Martina "Marie" Brown, 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at her home from natural causes. Marie was born to Hazel and J.C. Mikelson on July 24, 1924 in Boise, Idaho She received her education in the Boise area. Marie married Edmund D Brown in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in April of 2012. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she loved working in the temple. Marie enjoyed fishing, camping, bird watching, sewing and she loved their pup, Pepper. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and all her siblings. A big thank you goes out to Encompass Home Health and Hospice for gentle and loving care as well as to Carol Cutler and Dan and Donna Goodman, and to all her friends both in the church and community. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens at 2:30 P.M.
