PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION CHANGE Marlene Durrant Luker, 67, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Marlene was born on May 4, 1948 to Charles Cecil Durrant and Alta Durrant. She was the 3 rd out of 6 children and grew up in Jerome. She attended school at BYU, graduating in Early Childhood Special Education. She lived in Pocatello, Moreland and Idaho Falls. Marlene married Rodney Leon Jenks on July 10, 1970. They were married for 38 years then divorced. She then married Harold Luker on July 21, 2012. She was an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for 40 years. She taught in Pocatello, Snake River and Shelley. She was a member of the LDS Church holding various callings consisting of Relief Society President, Stake Girls Camp Director, Gospel Doctrine Instructor, Primary Worker and Chorister. She loved the outdoors and camping. She also loved to play bingo and skip-Bo, read, knit and crochet. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, children and her husband, Harold. Marlene is survived by her husband, Harold; children, Rodney Jr. (Jamie) Jenks, Jody (Nick) Dalley, Kristy (Troy) Milton, Jeff Jenks, Todd (Mandy) Jenks, Monica (Bruce) Martin; mother, Alta Durrant Wooley; siblings, Tom (Bonnie) Durrant, Gordon (Colleen) Durrant, Larry (Lezlie) Durrant; step-children, Julie (Devon) Smith, Janet (Austin) Turley, David (Cindy) Luker, Craig (Tammy) Luker, Dan (Kathy) Luker, Wayne (Deann) Luker, Bryce (Heidi) Luker, Lisa (Scott) Huffacker, Scott (Michelle) Luker, Lavon (Scott) Miller, and Seth (Brianna) Luker. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Cecil Durrant; brother, Dean Durrant; sister, Anne Sullivan; and step-daughter, Arva Lynn Luker. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11 am at the POCATELLO LDS CENTRAL STAKE BUILDING, 225 OAKWOOD DR. (OAKWOOD & FOOTHILL) , Pocatello, Idaho 83204 with a viewing from 10-11 am before services at the church. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500.
