Marlene Devoss

Marlene L, DeVoss, 79, Pocatello, passed away January 6, 2020 at her home of natural causes. She was born October 5, 1940 in San Francisco, California the daughter of Howard and Marie Jensen. She was raised and attended schools in California. Marlene married Dale DeVoss in Pocatello, Idaho in 1979 and enjoyed 40 years together. Marlene enjoyed traveling, crocheting, word puzzles, bowling, camping, traveling and while traveling she enjoyed wine tasting and playing cards/games with friends and family. She also enjoyed traveling on motorcycle with her husband Dale. Marlene worked as a grocery clerk for Safeway, and later Albertsons for over 40 years. She was a Kind and generous person and a good sister to Naoma Jensen. Marlene is survived by her husband, Dale D. DeVoss; daughter, Lori Sakurada; stepson, David (Ivy) DeVoss; step-daughter, Melinda (Jeff) Thomas; 8 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Naoma Jensen. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
