Marilyn L. Light, passed away, January 6, 2025.

Marilyn was born on May 1, 1950, to Bonnie and George Chatterton in Pocatello, Idaho. She grew up in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School, the class of 1968.

On December 7, 1979, Marilyn married John Light.

In her early years, Marilyn loved fishing. She never felt bad about out fishing her husband! She always enjoyed going to Jackpot, NV and gambling. She loved playing cards and just about any board game. One of Marilyn’s favorite things was camping, she loved being in the outdoors.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, John B. Light, of Chubbuck; sister, Louise Shirmer of Orem, UT; son, Paul Haskett of Boise, ID; daughter, Angela Light of Ogden, UT; and grandchildren, Mason Haskett of Arizona, Nevada, Elijah, and Judah of Ogden, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bonnie Chatterton; and granddaughter, Madison Haskett.

The family wishes to thank Heritage Home Health and Hospice for their loving care of Marilyn, and a very special thanks to Kristy and Mandy; you are awesome!
