Margi Gold

October 31, 1941 — April 21, 2024

Margi Earlene Gold, daughter of the King, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 21, 2024.

Born October 31, 1941, in Denver, Colorado, Margi lived in Wyoming, Arizona and California for most of her adult life.

Margi was captivated with the process of learning and improving her potential. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Christian Heritage College in 2000; a Master of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University in 2004; and Christ Community Church ordained her, Reverend Margi Gold, in 2006. Additionally, she served as a Chaplain at the San Diego Family Justice Center for several years.

She was a member of and attended both Hope United Methodist Church, and Christ Community Church in San Diego. Margi had been an active member of San Diego Walk to Emmaus in San Diego before moving to Pocatello, Idaho in 2018.

Margi experienced her share of adversity during her life, however her faith in the Lord provided her with strength and resilience. She was a loyal friend and faithful servant.

She loved watching movies, visiting with friends, serving her community, listening to country or gospel music and she had an affection for anything related to bunny rabbits!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Alcario Gold, and daughter Betsy Ramsay. Margi is survived by her niece, Holly Meiklejohn of Golden, Colorado and her best friend of thirty-years, Kim Criscione of Whiting, NJ, as well as many other beloved friends.

Memorial Services will be held in San Diego, California in 2025, date and time TBD. If you would like notification, please send your email to: margi.erlene.gold@gmail.com.
