Margaret V. Watson, 90, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, at Hillcrest Haven after a long illness. Margaret was born May 25, 1918 in Pocatello, Idaho to Joseph Bryant and Mary Margaret (Beale) Armstrong. She was born in a little white house on the South West corner of where Pocatello High School is now. Margaret married Orson Glover Watson on September 3, 1938 and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on July 3, 1958. Margaret and Orson had four daughters; LaWanna Armstrong, Pocatello, Barbara (Milt) Jenkins, Kathy (Mike) Murray of Blackfoot and Bonnie (Tom) Holcomb, Pocatello. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in the church. She was a counselor to five Presidents of Relief Society and was a Relief Society President. She also served in Mutual, Primary and Sunday School. She worked at the Tyhee School as a cook for several years. Mom enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading and embroidery. She also enjoyed being with her 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She loved them all very much. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave, Pocatello. The family will meet with friends and relatives Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
