Margaret Ann Tofanelli Allen

Margaret Ann (Tofanelli) Allen was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She has resided in Hawaii, California, Anchorage Alaska, and North Pole Alaska. She attended Bonneville Elementary, Franklin Middle and Pocatello High, graduating in 1963. She also attended Alaska Business College in Fairbanks, Alaska graduating in 1983.

Margaret married James McAbee in 1966, and was later divorced. In 1973 she married Robert Allen.

Margaret enjoyed music, including dancing and singing; gardening, fishing, darts and cooking.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Lodge 1392 Fairbanks, Alaska and was raised in the Catholic faith.
Margaret is preceded in death by her father Eugene (Gene) Tofanelli, her mother Albina (Blackie) Tofanelli; and brother Eugene (Gene Jr) Tofanelli.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Robert Allen, stepson James Allen, son John (Shanda) McAbee, step daughter Karen (Terry) Bentz, son Robert McAbee and son Christopher Allen. Sisters Evelyn (Terry) Gregg, and Norma (Paul) Jones. Five grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.

Thanks is not sufficient for the love and support from our "adopted daughter", Leslie Johnston. The family of Margaret would like to say Thank You to the patrons and employees of McDermotts Bar for your friendship and support. And a special Thank You to Heritage Hospice, especially Patti.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Mountain View Cemetery.
