Mabel Elizabeth Love Cutler passed away Tuesday, Christmas Eve Morn at the home of her granddaughter Breanna Brown, her husband Shannon and their two boys Boston and Benson who cared for Mabel in her later years. Mabel was born in Salt Lake City on February 18, 1936 to Blanche and Alfred Love. She was loved and cherished by her grandparents Hans and Anna Jensen, who helped raise her.
On August 31, 1956 she married Jerry Martin Thompson. Together they had 5 children then later divorced. Mabel loved children, she was a substitute on many an occasion and enjoyed helping within the school district. She had many musical talents. She loved singing and was taught vocal and piano lessons by various members of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She held many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite and most talked about was her service as the ward Primary pianist, she just loved the children! At 50 years old, she met the "love of her life", William Ethan (Bill) Cutler. They married in September of 1986 and were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Their marriage brought 5 more children into the family. Together they have 10 children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Bill and Mabel lived in the Tyhee area then later moved to Fort Hall.
Mabel had many talents and interests. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, canning, traveling, family reunions, singing, playing the piano and doing various activities with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband (Bill), daughters Wendy, Millie and Phylis and her sons Dave and Gene.
She is survived by her children: Mark Thompson, Roanna (Mark) Blackham, Cindy (Kelly) Garner, Kent (Stephanie) Thompson, Archie Cutler, Larry (Amy) Cutler, Brent (Ester) Cutler and Sharalee (Bruce) Duncan and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services beginning at 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow services in the Inkom Cemetery.
