Lynn Thomas Brower

Lynn T. Brower 78, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on November 12, 2020.

Lynn was born in Butte, Montana to Thomas Loren Brower and Roberta Clark. He spent most of his childhood in Yuba City, California, and Idaho. He later served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in October 1965.

Lynn met and married the love of his life, Karen Goodwin in 1970. They were married November 14, 1970. They were sealed for all of time and eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple. To this union, three children were born, Lynnette, Justin, and Kurt. Family was first and foremost, his greatest joy and love. He loved sharing his passion for fishing, hunting, and camping with his beloved family. Lynn was a train dispatcher for the Union Pacific Railroad.

Lynn was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He had various callings, but he especially enjoyed serving as financial clerk for many years. Lynn was a true leader in all he did.

Lynn had a resilient spirit, and he overcame many health obstacles. He developed a great appreciation for running as he became very mindful of his health. When Lynn's health declined, he enjoyed riding his stationary bike, going on car rides and visits from friends and family.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife Karen, his children Lynnette Brower (Christopher McGrath), Kurt Brower (Mandy) and Justin Brower; his sisters BettyJean (Bill Brown), Leola (Arnie Bass), Marilyn (Floyd Simons), Lorena Murdock, Sheila Potter; his brothers, Dale Brower (Denise), Kevin Brower (Nori), Richard Ledford; and his brother-in-law Byron Goodwin (Shauna).

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Steve Brower and William Ledford, his sister Vaun Brower, and his brothers-in-law Parley Potter, and Stan Murdock.

Dad, you were the best father anyone could ask for and will be greatly missed. It is never goodbye, just bye for now. We love you.

We would like to thank our friends and family for their love and words of kindness. We would also like to thank Dr. Ben Call and Pocatello Cardiology team, Dr. Jordan Bailey, and Encompass Hospice; especially Heather Booth RN and Dr. Travis Nielsen. You took tremendous care of us all.

There will be a private family viewing and graveside service with full military honors.
