Lynn E. Adams

On the morning of October 10, 2021, Lynn E. Adams, 79, loving husband and father passed away at Gateway Transitional Care in Pocatello, Idaho.

Lynn was born in St. Anthony, Idaho in March of 1942 to Claude and Bernice Adams, the eldest son of nine siblings. Although Lynn did not graduate high school, he lived by intuition and common sense. In November, 1964, Lynn married the love of his life, Bernice, and together they raised their four children, Jerry, Trena, Danny and Allen.

Lynn worked many jobs providing for his family; only health issues forced him to step away from his employment at the Hong Kong in Pocatello. His loving devotion to family was rivaled only by his love of laughter and playing of games. Lynn’s creative cooking with simple ingredients resulted in delicious meals for family and friends. Pets were important in his life, especially Rudy, his beloved dog for several years. Lynn’s whole-hearted care extended not only to family, friends and pets, but also to any plants as they flourished under his watchful eye.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Bernice, as well as his siblings Joyce, Jimmy and Wayne.

Lynn is survived by his wife Bernice; children Jerry, Trena, Danny and Allen; siblings Ann, Barbara, Marcie, Richard and Sherrie; grandchildren Ethan, Jacob, Wyatt, Kylie, Dominic, Malia, Lily, Oaklie and Mioro, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pocatello Animal Shelter. Condolences can be sent to Bernice Adams at Brookdale in Chubbuck, Idaho.
