Lynette Mosho, 54, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Lynette was born on July 18, 1964 to Evelyn Preacher and Leonard Mosho. Lynette was named "Nettie" and she grew up in Gibson, Idaho. She attended school in Blackfoot, Idaho and graduated in May 1982. Nettie worked for Basic American Foods for several years, she went to work for the Challis National Forest Service, Sho-Ban Headstart and her most recent employment was with the Sho-Ban Casino for 15 years in Environmental Services.
She was a member of the Native American church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. She did beadwork as a hobby and was the camp cook for everybody. Nettie had a very good sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her family members.
She is survived by; her companion and significant other of over 30 years, Edgar Ponzo of Pocatello; son Steven Lee Ponzo of Pocatello; Brian Ponzo, of Towoc, CO; sisters, Lenora (Frank) Lavatta, Tammy Mosho, Desirae Wheeler, Wendy Hall all of Blackfoot, Alma Mosho of Wyoming; brother, Alden Mosho of Blackfoot; uncle, Lloyd Preacher Sr. of Blackfoot; aunt, Janice Satanus of Oregon; nieces, Kyla Mosho, Sarah Snipe, Nettie Ann Mosho, Orion Kirkland & Eliza Kirkland of Blackfoot and nephew, Karl Mosho of Arbon Valley.
She was preceded in death by; her mother, Evelyn Preacher Wheeler; father Leonard Mosho; brother, Clifton Mosho; uncles, Willis Preacher and Delbert Farmer; grandparents, Wilson and Irene Preacher.
A viewing will be held at her residence on Ballard Road starting at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Burial will take place in the Gibson Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Condolences may be sent to the family online at wilksfuneralhome.com.
