Lyle Tomblison

Lyle Dix Tomblison was born on February 10 1929 in Idaho Falls Idaho. As a child he lived in a number of different places, as his father Ermal M. Tomblison worked for the Union Pacific RR and moved often. At the age of 5 years old Dix lost his mother Vonnie Dabell Tomblison. His loving grandparents helped raise him for several years after that. His father remarried Wanda Hansen, and Dix gained a brother Richard M. Tomblison. His stepmother Wanda died and his father married Mae Hansen Gibson, they had another son and brother Stanley Tomblison. When Dix was 20, he met the love of his life Donna Marie Bills. They spent the next 64 years together. He was a member of several different civic and fraternal organizations during his lifetime. Dix held many different positions throughout his career with the Union Pacific RR. When he retired from the RR , he and Donna enjoyed many years traveling to various vacation spots. They both loved spending time together doing things. He loved riding his motorcycles, it was his lifelong passion. He is survived by His wife Donna Tomblison , Pocatello Id, son David Tomblison
