Lula Stella Shaffer

Lula Stella Shaffer, 90, of Mackay, Idaho, passed away, March 7, 2022.

Lula was born September 21, 1931, in Leslie, Idaho to George William and Mary Francetta (Etta) Adams. She was the youngest of ten children.

She attended elementary schools in Leslie and Mackay, graduated from the Mackay High School in 1950.

On June 9, 1961, she married William B. Shaffer in Blackfoot Idaho.

She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Omaha Woodsman, Mackay Ladies Club and South Custer Historical Society.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lula is survived by her son, Bob and Marie Shaffer, daughter, Mary and Rick Pullin, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 12, 2022 at the Mackay LDS church, 531 Spruce St, Mackay, ID 83251. Viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at the Mt. McCaleb Cemetery.
