Luke Jackson

July 6, 1990 — March 5, 2023

Brian “Luke” Jackson, 32, passed away on March 5, 2023 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born in Farmington, New Mexico on July 6, 1990, where he was raised, living with his mother and twin sister.

Luke graduated from Farmington High School in 2009. After High School, he moved to Tennessee. He lived there until 2015. He then became an over-the-road truck driver. He was able to travel across the US, Canada, and Mexico. In 2020 he then moved to Pocatello ID. That is when he started working for Sysco and met the love of his life.

A few words to describe Luke. His laugh would make anyone laugh. He was a class clown with a wonderful sense of humor. He was always giving, helpful and generous. He loved to give to those in need. If you needed a friend, he was there for you. He was good at making everyone very comfortable. He loved to fish, and hunt. He really enjoyed cooking and grilling. He loved exploring the outdoors. He was a man’s man, who loved tools and cars, especially trucks, big trucks. He was very knowledgeable about everything he was interested in. Luke also had a love for cows and gnomes. In High school, he hid many gnomes throughout the high school and to this day they are still finding gnomes.

Luke is survived by his fiancé, Fawna Von Dohln and his stepchildren, Novia and Willow; his mother and stepfather, Virginia and Gordon Hinckley of Pocatello; his father, Brian Jackson of Tennessee; his twin sister, Brianna Jackson and niece Aurora Jackson; and his brother, Mason Hinckley.
