Luella Mae Dubbe

On July 29, 2011 our gracious Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away after a valiant struggle with cancer.

Lou Dubbe, 84, was born August 8, 1926 to Nick and Mary Palotta in Pocatello, Idaho. She married Willam H. Dubbe in 1946 and later divorced in 1973.

She worked at the Bannock County Sheriff's office for 27 years until she retired in 1988. Lou loved traveling (going on 16 cruises) and supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all of their sports and activities. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Lou was a member of the University Bible Church. Her wishes were cremation with a memorial at her church.

She is survived by her children Mike (Connie) Dubbe and Marilyn Riedlinger. She has four grandchildren; Shelley (Mark) Huelsman, Daren (Tracie) Dubbe, Raynee (Jeff) Myler and Ryan Flinn. Her great-grandchildren are Hailey and Hunter Huelsman and Kylie and Kassidy Dubbe. She is also survived by her sister Wanda (Preston) Morris, brother-in-law Herschel Bowman and several nieces and nephews. Lou was also surrounded by great friends.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents, sister Barbara Bowman and son-in-law Burt Riedlinger.
