Lucy Juanita Lowe Baker was born on June 9, 1939 to Arvel J. Lowe and Isabell Dorothy Curzon in Pocatello, Idaho. She was the second of 13 children.
She married the love of her life, Homer "Dean" Baker on October 20, 1954. They had five children together: Dorothy, Robert "Dean", Ronnie, Carol Jean, and Susan. She married her second husband, Gary Horning, in 1985.
Lucy was preceeded in death by her parents, Arvel and Isabell; her husband, Dean; her second husband, Gary; her daughters Carol Jean and Dorothy; her sisters Arvella, Sharon, Marian and Carol Jean; and her brothers Ronald, Jerry, Ralph, and Robert "Bob".
She is survived by her sons Dean and Ronnie; her daughter, Susan; her sisters Kathleen and Judy; her brothers Arvel Jr. and Ernest "Ernie", and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lucy enjoyed playing games with friends, one of which was Pinochle. She loved her family and friends and cared for most everyone she met. She always made it a point to call her grandchildren to sing them Happy Birthday each year.
She passed away on October 6, 2023. She will be missed and remembered by many.
