Lorraine Duffy

Lorraine Duffy, age 96, of Hopkins, Minnesota, passed away on February 15, 2023.

Lorraine was born at Maternity Hospital in Minneapolis in 1926. She attended South High School, class of 1945. She worked in various occupations, including Keller Drug, a burger shop on 16th and Lake, and at Sears Roebuck as a typist. She worked for Northwest Airlines as a stewardess from 1946-1957.  Later in life she worked at Colony Brokerage and Paramount Marketing.

Lorraine met Stephen P. Duffy, Jr. on a blind date, and they ended up getting married on September 7, 1957.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Katy Duffy Fowler (Dean) of Montevideo, Minnesota; her son, Stephen P. Duffy, III of Pocatello, Idaho; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen P. Duffy, Jr.; parents, Charles and Emma Bove; and sisters, Arlene Charbonneau and Charlotte Donnelly.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 524 N. 7th Ave, Pocatello, ID 83201. Interment will take place at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
