Loisa Kay Peterson, 61, of Pocatello and formerly of St. Anthony, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on September 5th, 2022. She loved her husband, Lennie, so much. They were together for more than 40 years. That wasn’t enough time. Instead of hanging around here on earth with us a little longer, she decided to join him in heaven. Who else would give him a hard time?
Loisa was born April 23rd, 1961, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Eileen Coombes and Danny Pyle. At the age of 16, she was taken in by Mick and Barbara Foss of Buhl Idaho. She was a graduate of Buhl High School. She moved around a bit in her younger years but settled down in St. Anthony, Idaho for a large portion of her life. There she had many great friends and relationships that she never forgot. Wanting to be closer to family, she moved to Pocatello in 2012.
Loisa had two children with her husband, Lennie, who she married June 23rd, 1980. She also had a stepdaughter from Lennie’s previous marriage. She enjoyed reading, watching her grandkids do anything, having a good time, and Lifetime movies.
Loisa is survived by her parents, Mick and Barbara Foss; children: Josh (Amanda) Peterson, Brandon (Blaire) Peterson, and Joy (Joe) Hill; grandchildren: Tyler Hill, Brayleigh Peterson, Ashlynn Peterson, Braxen Peterson, Boston Peterson, and Rayden Peterson; Her sister Debbie (Don) Bishop; and her brother Randy (Kim) Foss.
A celebration of Loisa and Lennie’s life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Wilks Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please go do something fun in their honor.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family under the "Tribute Wall" tab above.
