Linda Lee Standridge was born in Pocatello, Idaho on March 11, 1950 to Chet Lee and Irene Fox Burns. She passed on January 4, 2015. Linda spent the majority of her life between Pocatello and Fort Hall. On November 24, 1977 she married her love, Jessie Standridge. To this union a family was made two sons William Jordan and Robert Lee then later a daughter Brandi Marie. Linda and Jess shared an amazingly close bond that can never be broken.
Linda loved antiquing, finding treasures everywhere she went from garage sales to second hand stores, to flea markets and anywhere else Jess took her. They enjoyed hopping in the car and going for a ride just to spend time together. She was an artist at heart always finding a new hobby or craft. Over the past few years she enjoyed spending her free time crocheting and reading. Linda had nine grandchildren that were the light of her life. She shared an especially close bond with her granddaughter, Maddi Jo.
Linda Faye Standridge is survived by her husband of 37 years, William Jessie Standridge, a son Robert Lee Standridge, his children Aidinn and Eddie; a daughter Brandi (John) Shultz, their children Maddi Jo, John Dually, Paul, Mark (Sheridan); a daughter in law, Stacy Reed, grandchildren, Shaye, Cody, and Zach Standridge; Brittany and Bailey Heckathorne; three great grandchildren with one on the way; two brothers; Robert Joe Lee; and Ben (Pat) Lee; two sisters, Debbie Ann Butterfield; and Jackie(Joe) Forde; her sister in law, Mary Sue Standridge and her children Sammie, Travis (Kaila) and their boys Keone, Kyle, and Jarod; Jodi (Tim) Walker, their son Stetson; and many other aunts, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Burns; father, Chet Lee; brother, Chester D Lee; a son, William Jordan Standridge; father-in-law, Sam Standridge; and mother in-law, Lois Standridge.
Funeral services for Linda will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck Idaho. A viewing will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
