Linda Margaret Evans

July 3, 1945 — May 25, 2010

Linda Margaret Whittle/Evans, 64, died May 25, 2010 at her home. Linda was born to Theo and Velma Whittle on July 3 1945 in Pocatello. Linda was her daddy's little girl and has moved on to catch up on old times with him and all that have proceeded her in death.

Linda was loved by all that she knew. Linda attended Pocatello High graduating in 1963. She worked at Buddy's restaurant where she met and married D. K. Evans. They later divorced, however, they remained friends and she was by his side when he died May 24, 2008. Linda loved skiing, fishing and even tried her hand in goose hunting with Ken from time to time. Linda worked for the phone company moving from there, to her career job in law enforcement, starting with the City of Chubbuck then moving and retiring from Bannock County Sheriff's Department after serving 13 years. She loved her job and never forgot the people she worked with.

Linda was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at an early age and battled it for most of her life. She never let it get her down she always found happiness in all situations and considered herself blessed.

She is survived by one son, Dave of Pocatello, one grandson Logan of Pocatello, two brothers Larry of Twin Falls and Garry of Madras, Oregon.

Linda would like to thank all that have been a part of her life and a special thanks to all the people at Idaho Kidney Center, one very special and amazing nursing aide/best friend and the staff of Doctors that showed her the most respect and compassion. A very special thanks to one particular Dr and you know who you are, thank you very much you told it like it was and went beyond the call of duty and kept your word. May you and your special wife be blessed always. Linda will look forward to sharing another cup of red jello with you many years from now. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local humane society in Linda's name as she loved all animals.

Services for Linda will be announced at a later date, and will appear under the "Service Schedule" tab above.
