Linda Hofhine Elliott

November 15, 1946 — June 29, 2023

Linda Hofhine Elliott was born on November 15, 1946, to Glen and Alice Hofhine in Shelley, Idaho. She lived in Shelley until she was three years old, at which time her family moved to Aberdeen, and later moved to Pocatello. She attended schools in Pocatello, Idaho, graduating from Pocatello High School in 1965.

Linda married Lawrence L. Elliott on November 6, 1965, in Pocatello, Idaho. They were married for 57 years and had 4 children: Rick (Connie) Elliott of Pocatello, Darrell (Rhonda) Elliott of Bend, Oregon, Cheryl (Jerome) Czyzewski of Omaha, Nebraska, and Steven (Katrina) Elliott of Blackfoot, Idaho; 8 grandchildren: Jake, Dalton, Abigail, Baylee, Charley, Hunter, Dallin, and Taylor; and 1 great grandchild: Rory.

Linda enjoyed sewing, painting, reading, and doing puzzles. The dishes towels that she painted were famous within the family as whenever someone got married, they received a set of her painted dish towels. She also loved making homemade chocolates with her mom and sister. Linda also loved going camping with her family and spending many summers in the mountains.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In lieu of flowers, her family is suggesting donations to be made to the local Alzheimer’s Association, or to even visit an old friend, go camping with your family, and let everyone know how much you love them.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jean Newsom, brother-in-law Jack Newsom, and her brother Dee Hofhine.

In addition to her husband and children, Linda is survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister-in-law Joann Hofhine; many nieces and nephews, and numerous grand fur babies.
