Linda Faye Casper, was born April 26, 1958, to Lester Ellison and Martha Bernice Moffit in Pocatello, ID. She was the last of six children. She grew up and attended schools in Pocatello. At an early age she married Roger Jepsen in Elko, Nevada and soon had her first child Andrew. They all briefly moved to Michigan while Roger was stationed there in the Air Force. They later divorced, and she moved back to Idaho. She soon met who would become the love of her life, Philip Don Casper. On August 25, 1977, they were married at the Bannock County courthouse. Over the next few years, they welcomed two more children in their home, Dustin, and Veronica. On 17 March 1984 they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In 2003 they welcomed another child, Brayden, into the family. In 2007 they welcomed his older brother Cameron as well and through adoptions and sealings they both become eternal members of the family. She was a devoted wife and mother who was always there for her family. She was kind and generous and everyone loved her. She loved to crochet and made all kinds of gifts for people from dresses to dolls and blankets of all colors and sizes. She loved outdoor adventures especially when she could get away from the city and leave it all behind. Camping, fishing, and four-wheeling in the pickup truck with her family. In later years she especially loved going out on the ATVs with her sweetheart and being gone all day long, and she desperately missed going out after he returned to his Heavenly Father in 2008. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ she served in the Relief Society, Young Women’s and Primary and loved the people she worked with. Early in the morning of June 21, 2021, with her children by her side she quietly and peacefully passed from their presence to join her sweetheart in heaven, where we know an incredibly special reunion took place.
She is survived by her children Andrew (Kristi) Casper of Twin Falls, ID; Dustin (Sarah) Casper of Pocatello, ID; Veronica (John) Hughes of Pocatello, ID; Cameron Casper of Pocatello, ID; Brayden Casper of Twin Falls, ID; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; her siblings Don (Judy) Moffit, Dennis Moffit, Darlene Moffit and Rosalee Moffit as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sweetheart Philip Don Casper, her parents, her brother Eugene Moffit, and her grandson-in-law Nick Huskey.
