Lilia Millante Palis

Lilia Nanay Palis, age 76, passed away peacefully at a local care facility, Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born to Dimetrio Millante and Consulatio Aguillar on July 16, 1937 in the Philippines. Lilia spent all, but the last 8 years of her life living in the Philippines. She moved to Pocatello, Idaho in the United States to be with her daughter, Angelita and her family; husband, Bill Harris and father-in-law, Don Walter Harris. Lilia had not formal education but learned very well the value of family, love and faithfulness in our Father in Heaven.
Lilia was married to Basilio Abajero until he passed away. She then married Lito Palis.
Lilia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was very active with temple work. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching black and white movies and keeping healthy.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Basilio Abajero, sons; Joselito and Joel Abajero, daughters; Agnes and Alicia Abajero, and both parents; Demetrio Millante and Consulatio Aguillar.
She is survived by: sons; Alberto Pavia, Leonardo Abajero of the Philippines, daughters; Angelita (Bill) Harris of Pocatello, Id, United States, Rowena Viola, Josielyn Abajero, Gemma Abajero, of the Philippines, grandchildren; Aira, Andrea, Nonoy Abajero, Andrew Joaquin of the Philippines, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Lilia's family would like to thank all of those who have helped out during this most difficult time including: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Wilks Funeral Home and all of their family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Id. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to Lilia's family online at www.wilksfuneralhome.com
