Leslie Gene Trent

Leslie Gene Trent, 69, passed away on January 9, 2024.  

Leslie Trent was born April 3rd, 1954 in Idaho Falls, ID to Evelyn Sorenson. Evelyn later married Dudley Jenkins. 

He was the oldest of 2 sisters and 3 brothers. 

After he got his GED, he joined the Army in 1973. 

He married Violet Zink in 1979 and they had one daughter. They later divorced. 

He was in a relationship with Sharon Rico from 1989 to 1993 and they had a son. 

He worked as a landscaper. He enjoyed building bikes with his brother Kolen. He enjoyed making model cars. 

He will be remembered as a kind and giving person. 

He is survived by his son Gene Trent in Boise Idaho, a daughter Jeanne (Lucas) Conway in Twin Falls, 3 grandsons Damian, Casey, and Sean. He is survived by 2 brothers DJ (Kimm) and Kolen Jenkins both of Pocatello. 

He is preceded in death by his mom Evelyn, and step dad Dudley Jenkins. He is preceded by a brother Ralph and two sisters Tauna, and Rhonda. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sizzler in Pocatello from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2023.
