LeRoy Allen House, 65, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2024 in his home in Pocatello, Idaho. LeRoy was born on May 30, 1959 in Cottonwood, Arizona to Thomas and Lois House. He was the youngest of three children: Helen and Martin. He was an active and energetic little boy who loved to play outside. He grew up in Cottonwood, Arizona until he moved with his family to Cortez, Colorado; where he graduated from Montezuma High School. LeRoy attended some college in Phoenix, Arizona until he ended up in Moab, Utah where he met and married the love of his life, Kristin Bohn in 1982.
LeRoy enjoyed a career as a long-haul truck driver for many years, until he and his wife were blessed with an angel daughter Andrae (Shaun) Monson. After Andrae’s birth, LeRoy transitioned from long-haul truck driving to a more local position near Denver, Colorado to devote himself as a husband and father. LeRoy supported his daughter and wife as Kristin battled a courageous fight against cancer until she succumbed to her illness in May of 2005. In order to fully support his daughter in her religious beliefs, LeRoy began his journey to discover the restored true gospel of Jesus Christ for himself, leading to his conversion as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he was a faithful and diligent member until the very end.
LeRoy raised his daughter as a single parent until he met Linda (Leatham) in 2007. They quickly fell in love and united their two families, where LeRoy accepted with open arms, Linda’s children: Lindsey (Jared) Vincent, Matt (Ashley) Leatham, Paul (Mallory) Leatham, and Daniel (Paige) Leatham.
One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with all of his grandchildren: Tanner, Emma, Eliza, Ryker, Hudson, Adelyn, and Hannah (Jared and Lindsey Vincent); Taggart and Harlow (Matt and Ashley Leatham); Lucy, Jack, Nyle, and Ryan (Paul and Mallory Leatham); Cooper, Bridger, and Eleanor (Daniel and Paige Leatham); Naomi, Holden, Blakeley, and Xander (Andrae and Shaun Monson).
LeRoy will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
