Leroy Frank Miera

Leroy Frank Miera passed on 9-21-22 from health issues at Portneuf Medical Center. He was born on 11-18-1934 in Chama, NM to Vince Miera and Jean Valdez. He joined the United States Air Force and fought in the Korean War From 1952 to 1954.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Arthur & Milton, 4 sisters Sarah, Gloria, Vickie and Flora, his wife Debra, 1 son, Rick, and a great-granddaughter Ailen Figard.

He is survived by 5 sons, Johnny Marsinco of NM, Leroy Miera Jr of Denver, Mike Miera of Chubbuck, Brian Miera of Pocatello and Jason Miera of Declo, 3 daughters, Denise Miera Mirigian of Fresno CA, Theresa Beck of Soda Springs, one adopted, Janeal Miera the 4th daughters name & location unknown. 12 grandchildren, Christiano Miera, Michael Jeremy Miera, Devin Lee Miera, Michael Angelo Miera Arizona, Ricky Miera, Sadie Miera, Reina Miera, CJ Miera, Janeal Miera, Jesse Miera, Charlie Miera. Derek Beck Elko NV, Darin Beck deceased. 24 great grandchildren, Ashlyn Miera and Aylee Miera (Devin) Rylynn & Paisley Miera (Jeremy & Mikelle Miera) Lilliana, Anna and Charlette ( Ricky & Emily Miera) Angel Miera, Emmanuel Miera, Richard Lee, Ariah Miera and Emilio (Christiano) Miya Huerta, Taesyn Miera (Janeal) Jedediah Miera-Figard (Reina) Avery & Kingston Davis (CJ Miera) Asher Williamson (Sadie & Chris Williamson) Nina Beck, Bella Beck (Darin) Sophia Beck, Madalyn Beck, Finlee Beck, Essie Beck and Braxton Beck (Derek & Sydney)

The family sends a very grateful thank you to the entire staff at the Veterans home in Pocatello for the professional care and exceptional compassion they provided for the last 2 years and 9 months of Leroy’s residency at that facility.

Funeral services are in the care of Wilks Funeral Home 211 W Chubbuck Rd Chubbuck Id 83202 and will be on Saturday Oct 8th 2022, viewing from 10 to 10:45 am, service at 11am with interment following the funeral.

A luncheon will be provided following the interment at the cemetery.

Side dishes are welcomed.
