Leonard David DeVore, 49, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 31, 2014 at his home with his loving family and friends by his side. Leonard was born in Billings, MT to Glenn and Irita DeVore in January 1965. His family lived on a ranch or farm most of his childhood. He continued loving the outdoors in his adult life by hunting, camping and fishing as often as he could. He loved animals and took his dogs with him everywhere. Leonard attended Marsh Valley High School where he graduated in 1982. He was a carpenter and he worked construction most of his life. Leonard is survived by his mother, Irita DeVore, Pocatello, ID, daughter and son-in-law September and James Maston, Carlene Davis and Darlene Lester, Melody Cox, daughter and stepson, Erika and Joshua Wood, step daughter Jessie Wheeler and son Braden, and 2 grandsons Essaiah and Christian all of Pocatello and numerous cousins. Leonard is preceded in death by his father, Glenn DeVore, brothers, Donald and Frank DeVore, ex-wife, Tami Hite DeVore, and stepson, Gino Glenn. The family would like to send a special thanks to Alliance Hospice Care and Colonial Funeral Home for all their support and loving care during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 2 5 PM at the Alameda Park Pavilion.
