Leo R. Jenson

Leo R. Jenson, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 surrounded by family. Leo was born on June 5, 1938 to Royal Leo Jenson and Claris Leone Nielsen. He was raised in Malad and Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He served an LDS mission to the Gulf States and attended Idaho State University and the U of U. After obtaining his degree he worked for Zion's First National Bank in Logan, Utah and later worked for Ireland Bank in Pocatello, Idaho.

Leo was an avid hunter and fisherman, with a love and respect for nature. He belonged to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, American Quarter Horse Association and the Idaho State Bossier.

Leo is survived by his children: Wendy MacFarlane, Idaho Falls, ID; Beverly Harris, Pocatello, ID; Jennifer Ellis, Las Vegas, NV; Brandon Jenson, Corydon, IA; brother, Paul D. Jenson of Arizona; sister, Linda Schoenfeld of UT; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; grandson, Carson Leo Harris and brother, Robert Jenson.
