Lennie Dee Peterson

May 16, 1947 — August 28, 2022

Lennie Dee Peterson, 75, of Pocatello, Idaho and formerly of St. Anthony, Idaho, passed away on August 28, 2022.  He was born on May 16, 1947, in Oakley, Idaho to Vernus and Zella Hale. At the age of 12, Lennie was adopted by Oliver and Norma Peterson.  He graduated from Minico High School and then attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.  Lennie lived most of his adult life in St. Anthony, Idaho, having moved to Pocatello just a few years ago.


Lennie had three children, one from a previous marriage and two with his wife, Loisa, who he married on June 23rd, 1980. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, painting, and building.


He is preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Norma, brothers Karey and David, and his sister Cynthia.


Lennie is survived by his wife, Loisa Peterson; his children: Josh (Amanda) Peterson, Brandon (Blaire) Peterson, and Joy (Joe) Hill; grandchildren: Tyler Hill, Brayleigh Peterson, Ashlynn Peterson, Braxen Peterson, Boston Peterson, and Rayden Peterson; and his brother Richard (Brenda) Peterson. 


The Peterson Family would like to give a special thank-you to Dr. Fenstermaker, Dr. Clark, and Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for the care and concern they offered to Lennie.   


A celebration of Lennie and Loisa's life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Wilks Funeral Home.
