Laura Ann Fisher Moore, 50, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, at a local medical center. She was born June 28, 1958 in Pocatello, Idaho to Marion Lee and Phyllis Jean (Martin) Fisher. She was raised and educated in Pocatello, graduating from Highland High School in 1976. She married Steve Moore and they had two children, Murphi and Markus. Laura worked for Farmers Insurance Co., had her own answering service for a number of years and then worked for Convergys as a telephone service agent. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved to knit, crochet, and sew and to do things that were creative. She enjoyed the outdoors and just to live and be happy. She liked to use computers and enjoyed playing games and just having fun on them. She also watched NasCar racing and rooted for Dale Earnhardt Jr. Laura was into Startrek and it was also her favorite show. Laura loved her children and they were her whole life; Murphi is a college student and Markus is in the U.S. Marine Corps. She was waiting patiently for her own grandchildren and in the meantime she was thoroughly enjoying her great niece, Ariah and three great nephews, Tyrel, Kaidan, and Riley. She also loved her two pugs and treated them like part of the family. She is survived by her children, Murphi and Markus, a brother, Robert Fisher and a sister, Nancy Gunter and her children, Travis and Tyrell (Candice). She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive anyone that wishes to stop by at 390 Park Ave. In lieu of flowers those who knew Laura and would like to honor her may make a donation to Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave Pocatello, Idaho 83201 to help with the funeral expenses.
