Larry Merle Larsen

Larry Merle Larsen, 61, of Pocatello, passed away peacefully November 15, 2011 at the Veterans Home with his family by his side.

Larry was born March 19, 1950 in Pocatello, Idaho to Lynden and Lois Larsen. He attended Hawthorne School and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1968. He then joined the Air Force and spent most of his service at George Air Force Base in California.

He has lived in Boulder Colorado, Yuma Arizona, and Lisbon North Dakota before returning to Pocatello.

Larry enjoyed fishing and spending time out doors. He was a man of little needs but enjoyed being with his family.

He spent his adult life working as a C.N.A. and in maintenance.

His father Lynden Larsen and brother Keith Larsen precede him in death.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Larsen of Pocatello, sisters, Tina Wheatley (Philip) of Idaho Falls and Dianna Larsen and sister-in-law Paula Larsen both of Pocatello. One daughter Misty Carr and grandsons, Logan Carr and Ethan Millward also of Pocatello.

His family would like to thank the Veterans Home for the kindness and loving care they gave Larry while he was a resident there.
