Larry K. Stevenson, 63, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born in Fresno, California on October 6, 1956. Larry split his adolescence between Carmel, California, and Mississippi. He graduated from Carmel High School. After high school, he worked in Carmel then found his way back to Fresno. Larry settled in Fresno for a while until relocating to Pocatello, Idaho. Larry met Pamela Douglas on a blind date, arranged by Pams brother Jeff Douglas. Two years later, he and Pam were married on May 28, 1988 in Fresno. Larry began his career working for Sky West Airlines. He then co-founded a business, Global Food Technologies, which relocated the family to Pocatello, ID. He also worked at Heinz for many years until it closed. Larry most recently worked at Amys Kitchen. Larry was a member of the Bengal Booster Club and was baptized Baptist at Clovis Hills Community Church in 1992. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pocatello, Idaho since 1998. Larry had many hobbies and interests. As the Master Griller - he was always behind the grill, barbecuing for friends. As a dad - his life was his children and he loved spending time with his son and daughter coaching and playing sports. As a husband - loved reading on the deck with his wife. He also loved golfing with friends and family, which was a special activity for Larry and his dad. He enjoyed experiencing craft beer and going to breweries, camping, and playing softball. Larry is survived by Pam Stevenson, wife, Pocatello, ID; Brian Stevenson, son, Boise, ID; Lindsay Stevenson, daughter, Coeur dAlene, ID; Ray Stevenson, father, Carmel, CA; Joan Stevenson, stepmother, Carmel, CA; Chris Stevenson, brother, Gilroy, CA; Julie Sandifer, sister, Fresno, CA; Jennifer Stevenson, sister, Carmel, CA; Bonnie Ward, sister, Harrisville, MS; Cindy Etheridge, sister, Brandon, MS; Phillip Sandifer, brother, Pearl, MS; Bo Sandifer, brother, Brandon, MS; and Gay Lynne Goff, sister, Richland, MS. He is preceded in death by Linda Riley, mother, Carmel, CA; and Debbie Angelini, sister, Marysville, TN. There will be no services held at this time.
