Larry D Cobbley

Larry D. Cobbley was born October 29, 1945 to Myron and Sybil Cobbley and passed away August 8, 2016. He was the 3rd of 6 children. Larry attended Washington Elementary, Alameda Jr. High, Pocatello High and Highland High school, graduating from Highland in 1964. After graduation Larry joined the Navy and was enlisted from 1964-1967. In 1969 Larry became employed with the UPRR. He lived in Pocatello until March 1987 when he moved the family to Evanston, Wyoming for a job promotion. He moved the family again in Dec 1987 to Quincy, California where he remained until February 1991 at which time they returned to Pocatello.

Larry married Nancy Cronin on February 2, 1974 and became the step-father to her two children, Todd & Kim, and in March of 1975, Clyde was born to complete the family.

Larry was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed golfing and camping. He loved to cook and was always trying new recipes.

Larry is survived by his wife Nancy Cobbley of Inkom, ID; daughter Kim (Nick) Crowder of Pocatello, ID; sons Todd Jones of Paradise, CA and Clyde (Corinna) Cobbley of Inkom, ID; Grandsons Jayden Crowder of Pocatello, ID and Colter Cobbley of Inkom, ID; granddaughter Marissa Crowder of Pocatello, ID; brothers Richard Cobbley of Pocatello, ID and Bill (Sandy) Cobbley of Blackfoot, ID; and sisters Diane (Jim) Allen of Pocatello, ID and Cheryl (Gale) Reaves of American Falls, ID.

Larry was preceded in death by his maternal and Paternal grandparents, parents Myron and Sybil, and brother David Cobbley.

Per his request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held August 20th, 2016 from 12noon to 4pm at 151 E. Leta, Inkom, Idaho. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family under the "Share a Memory" tab on this page.
