Larry Beck

Larry Beck, 65 years old, passed away on October 9, 2021. Larry was the husband of Jeanette (Lish) Beck. Larry was born in Anaconda, Montana on November 7, 1955 to Charles and Andrea Beck.

Larry was a “bass playing musician from hell”. He loved music. He spent much of his life playing lead and bass guitar. Some of his bands were Burns Creek, Andeconda, and Ace High, to name a few. He also spent time playing for his church band at Rocky Mountain Ministries. Music was his life. Larry spent most of his career at Bailey’s Truck and Auto. In his later years he worked for K & B Kwik Stop. This is what would lead him to his latest passion. One night at work he found a baby kitten that was near death. From here, he joined up with a rescue organization called Aiding 2 Adoption Rescue (A2A). From here on, he and Jeanette spent all of their free time fostering and finding homes for stray and abandoned cats.

Larry is survived by his wife Jeanette Beck (Lish), daughters Angela Torres (Beck) and Jessica (Danny K) Greaves-Kinney. A son Derek Beck, (Cydney), in-laws Dave and Raina Lish, and his grandchildren Ashlyn, Caitlyn, Jaxson, Madalyn, Finley, Essie, Angelina, Aerabella, Sophia, and Braxton. Larry is predeceased by his parents, brothers Chuck and Dennis Beck, and by his son Darin Beck.

Larry will forever by missed by his family and those who knew and loved him. There will be a celebration of life held on his upcoming birthday, November 7, 2021 in Butte, Montana.
