LaRelle Byrne,74, passed away on Friday February 5, 2010. LaRelle was born January 16, 1936 in Driggs, ID. She was the 7th child of 8 born to Arthur James and Laura Dell Cover Byrne. LaRelle spent her childhood in Chapin, ID where she enjoyed growing up fishing, playing, and being surrounded by loving family and friends. She graduated from Teton High School in Driggs, ID in 1954.
LaRelle was a great strength to her mother and father in times of need while she worked at Harper Drug and Price Mercantile.
In January 1960 she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Teri Lyn who would be a great support to her during her time here on earth. In December 1973 she was blessed with a baby boy, Jeffrey Brandon who ever remained the little man of the house. During this time she was very involved in 4-H, Lady Lions and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
In 1986 LaRelle and Jeff moved to Boise, ID to join her daughter and family. LaRelle worked and later retired from Head Start where she cooked for many years.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served happily and faithfully in many callings.
Her greatest joys were when she could show off her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's pictures. She always took great joy and love in her family. She also loved sports and especially Greenbay Packer's football.
LaRelle is survived by daughter Teri Lyn (Lyle) Huffaker, grandchildren Laci (Brock) Wilks, Kayla (Steven) Saville, Lucas (Holly) Huffaker, Cody Huffaker, and 6 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Alexa, Joe, Brynn, Dallin and baby girl. She is also survived by her sisters, Laura Jean Crabtree of Wheatland, CA and Alyce Clark of Mackay, ID
LaRelle is preceded in death by her son Jeffery Brandon; father, Arthur James; mother Laura Dell Cover; sisters Ethel and Nadine, and brothers Harold, Charles, and Lorin.
