at home on Monday, December 1, 2014. Junior was born and raised on the Fort Hall Indian Reservations. He lived in Phoenix, AZ and Browning, MT while attending school. His trade as a masonry took him to Chicago, Seattle, Sun Valley and local places of employment.
He was married to Rita Lora. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union.
Junior was a spectator of Horseracing; he enjoyed football, basketball and Indian Relay Racing.
He is survived by: wife, Rita Lora, of Fort Hall; step-son, Joseph Rascon of Fort Hall; sisters, Bonnie Ish of Fort Hall and Marlene "Titter" (Leroy) Skunkcap of Fort Hall; brother Milo (Annette) Edmo of Fort Hall; nephew, Michael Edmo of Washington; son, Jeffery (Summer) Edmo of Pocatello; sister-in-laws Colleen Edmo of Fort Hall and Virginia Edmo of Blackfoot; cousins Leona "Bear" Jim of Fort Hall and Lorena "Chumply" Pongah of Fort Hall.
He was preceded in death by: step-son, Carlos Lora; parents Lamose and Jane Pongah Edmo; siblings, Bernice "Pickles," Zelma Ballard, Ronald "Scrub", Theron "Tunnyman", Inelda Edmo Wheeler and JayCee; paternal grandparents, Jack and Lizzie Randall Edmo and maternal grandparents Pongah and Kate Farmer Pongah-Pizie.
A viewing will be held starting at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his home on Sheepskin Road and Faulkner Loop. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at his home. Cremation will follow services at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilks Funeral Home 211 W.
