Lael Ray Huff, 45, passed away on Saturday, November 25th 2017 in Dell, Montana from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Lael Ray Huff born in Nampa, Idaho on September 14, 1972 to Leray and Coralie Huff. He graduated 1991 from Vale High School in Vale, Oregon. He played basketball and baseball in High School and earned a state chemistry award. He served a mission in Vina del Mar, Chile in 1991, where he met his future wife. He also served 4 years in the U.S. Navy specializing in avionics.
He married Andrea Labra on November 5, 1994 in Fruitland, Idaho and was sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on October 29, 2006. Their daughter Alexandra Gabrielle Huff was born April 4, 2000.
Lael was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting (especially archery), trapping and wood cutting. He was an accomplished auto mechanic and shared those talents with many people.
He always had a handshake, smile or hug for everyone. He was always willing to help others without hesitation. He expressed that everything he did, he did for his girls.
Lael is survived by: his wife Andrea; daughter Alexandra, Pocatello, ID; parents Leray and Coralie Huff, Vale, OR; siblings Anjanette (Craig) Cude of Bentonville, AR; Tirza Ross, Ontario, OR; Erin (Ron) Sorenson, Bluffdale, UT; Farrah (Wayne) Chastain, Baker City, OR; Hayden (Nathalie) Huff, Meridian, ID.
He was preceded in death by: his uncles, Leroy Huff and Dennis Huff; paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Alameda LDS Stake Center at 930 Alameda Road in Pocatello, Idaho. Family will receive friends prior to the services at the church starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery with military rites provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard.
